Poverty Simulation

Kennett Area Community Service in partnership with Square Roots Collective, United Way of Southern Chester County, Oxford Neighborhood Services,  Chester County Partnership to End Homelessness, and Chesco Bridges Coalition, has a new date for the Poverty Simulation.  It will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at St Michael Church in Unionville, PA.  Poverty Simulation is a great tool that organizations can use to help their Board of Directors, volunteers, donors, and community-at-large understand what it could be like to be a part of a family trying to survive. These partnering organizations invite the public to join them in engaging, educating, and empowering our community to create change. More information about the event, including the registration link, can be found here.

It takes a lot of people to have a successful, impactful Poverty Simulation. We encourage you to share this flyer with anyone in your circle and in your community. A community that knows better does better for its members.
